Introduction

In the current teaching landscape that we are faced with, it is important to have as many tools available to you as classes continue to move toward an online environment. In response to this, the IDEA Team created this page and a corresponding Blackboard Course that will serve as an orientation to teaching hybrid and fully online classes.

Why this approach?

A long-term fallacy in academia has been that face-to-face teaching is better than online teaching. We disagree. Good teaching IS good teaching, and this course will hopefully encourage deep thinking about your approach to online teaching.

How to Begin

There are three steps you need to take:

  3. Then view each of the modules in the embedded graphic below. You can click on an icon to get to the module.
